Birkenstock opens first Colorado store in Boulder

Birkenstock has opened its first company-owned retail store in Colorado at the Twenty-Ninth Street shopping center in Boulder.
The Boulder location is Birkenstock’s 21st company-owned store in the United States. The footwear company also opened its 22nd U.S. store at CityPlace in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Located at 1750 29th St., Suite 1042, the Boulder location sells footwear for adults and children, including sandals, clogs, sneakers, shoes and boots. It also carries the company’s foot and body care products.
“Opening our doors in Boulder and West Palm Beach is a meaningful step in Birkenstock Americas’ retail journey,” said David Kahan, president of Birkenstock Americas.
The Boulder store is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Its interior incorporates materials used in Birkenstock products, including cork, felt and leather.
The openings come as Birkenstock marks the 50th anniversary of its Boston clog in 2026.
