Fire inspection software company Uptick has opened an office in Denver as it expands its North American operations.
The office, located in the Platte River Rowing Club building at 1774 Platte St., will support customer service, recruiting and product development. Uptick plans to increase its U.S. workforce by 50% by 2027 and invest in domestic research and development.
Uptick’s U.S. team has grown to more than 40 employees during the past two years. More than 200 North American companies have adopted its platform during that period, according to the company.
Uptick’s software combines scheduling, inspection reporting, compliance and administrative work for fire protection companies. Its technology is used to maintain more than 2.7 million buildings across three continents. The company has more than 1,000 customers worldwide, including customers in all 50 states and Canada.
“With our rapidly expanding Denver hub, we’re closer to our customers and better positioned to tap into top tech talent to continue developing the software they rely on,” CEO Aidan Lister said.
Uptick said its expansion comes as fire protection businesses seek alternatives to spreadsheets, paper reports and other manual systems. Merger and acquisition activity in the fire protection sector increased 66.7% in 2025, according to the company.
Uptick is backed by growth equity firm PSG Equity.
