New owners are longtime execs with moving and logistics firm

After 30 years as CEO and owner of Buehler , Stuart Smith is selling majority ownership of the company to Scott Luedke, the current president and general Manger, and David Pryor, the current CFO. The moving and logistics company is headquartered in Denver with branches in Albuquerque, Fort Worth and Colorado Springs.

Under Smith’s leadership, Buehler Companies expanded with three additional branches, acquired Student Movers of Denver, and helped develop Buehler Companies into the 2nd largest Mayflower Van Lines Hauler.

Scott Luedke has been an employee with Buehler Companies for more than 30 years. He started out as a mover on the trucks and worked in many roles over the years before becoming president and general manager.

David Pryor, who will continue as CFO and take on the additional role of COO, said, “Our focus will remain
on providing exceptional moving and logistics services while exploring new opportunities for growth and
innovation. Stuart’s guidance as chairman will be invaluable as we move forward.”
