Buff Club raises record $37.7 million for Colorado athletics

The University of Colorado Boulder’s Buff Club reported $37.7 million in gifts and commitments during the 2025-26 fiscal year, surpassing the previous record of $35.4 million set in 2024-25.
Cash donations totaled $28.8 million, a 12% increase from the previous year. Pledges reached $17.5 million, up 25%.
The average gift increased 48% to more than $2,800. Philanthropic cash donations rose 44% to $16.5 million while philanthropic pledges increased 19% to $15.6 million.
The fundraising total included a $6 million commitment from Jeff and Orsi Crawford, the largest individual gift commitment in Colorado Athletics history. Former CU basketball player Derrick White and his wife, Hannah, committed $2 million to the men’s basketball program.
“This record-setting year is a reflection of the belief our donors, alumni, fans and supporters have in the future of Colorado Athletics,” Athletic Director Fernando Lovo said.
Private donations support athletic scholarships, academic programs, nutrition, mental health services and other Colorado Athletics initiatives.
