Christopher Myers is chief executive officer of B:Side Capital, a Denver-based nonprofit small business lender focused on expanding access to capital for entrepreneurs and small enterprises across the United States. Since joining the organization in 2020, he has led its transformation from Colorado Lending Source to B:Side Capital, positioning it as a national leader in innovative, values-driven small-business financing.

Myers’ career spans entrepreneurship, finance and academia. A graduate of Arizona State University, he began his career at Cornerstone Advisors before joining Kotzin Valuation Partners and Apollo Education Group, where he directed global strategy. In 2010, he co-founded Bodetree, a financial technology company serving small businesses, where he served as CEO until 2018. He later held leadership roles at Bodetree Advisors and Yellow Express Global before assuming his current position at B:Side Capital.

In addition to his executive role, Myers serves as a professor of entrepreneurship and strategic leadership at Arizona State University’s W. P. Carey School of Business and as an entrepreneur-in-residence with Skysong Innovations. He is also a contributing writer for Entrepreneur magazine and the author of several books, including Enlightened Entrepreneurship, The Enlightened Franchisee and The B:Side Way: Mastering Leadership for Modern Times.

Under Myers’ leadership, B:Side Capital has expanded its lending portfolio, diversified its financial offerings and implemented new technology platforms that improve operational efficiency and client access. Guided by a philosophy of clarity, accountability, and long-term impact, Myers continues to strengthen B:Side’s mission of empowering small businesses through responsible lending.
