Colorado franchisee wins rookie award at Metal Supermarkets

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. — A owner was among those recognized at the 2025 Franchisee Conference, where top franchisees from across North America and the United Kingdom were honored for their performance and leadership.

Jason Frank, owner of Metal Supermarkets Denver (Englewood) and Metal Supermarkets Colorado Springs, received the Rookie of the Year Award. The honor recognizes a new franchisee who has opened a store within the past two years and demonstrated strong sales growth and outstanding customer service.

Frank opened both Colorado locations within the past two years and has plans to open a third. He was recognized for achieving impressive sales results and showing dedication to the brand’s standards of quality and customer care.

The three-day conference, held Sept. 18-20 in Hollywood Beach, Florida, brought together more than 140 franchisees and corporate staff under the theme “Building on Strength. Executing for Growth!” Attendees participated in business workshops, networking sessions, and discussions about the company’s future direction.

“Our 2025 fiscal year was another strong period of growth and success,” said Ryan Pryznyk, president and CEO of Metal Supermarkets. “We want to recognize the hard work of our dedicated franchisees who drive the success of our stores across our network.”

Other honorees included Matthew White of Edmonton, Alberta, who received the Bill Mair Franchisee of the Year Award; Denette and Greg Gallman of Charleston, South Carolina, who won the Customer Service Award; Virag Patel of Rockford, Illinois, who earned the Sales Growth Award; and Chris Hare of the Greater Toronto Area, who received the Safety Leadership Award.

Metal Supermarkets, ranked No. 195 on the Franchise Times Top 400 list, operates more than 110 stores across North America and the United Kingdom. The company continues to expand its network, offering franchise opportunities to owner-operators with strong business and customer service experience.
