Elizabeth P. Lord-Levitt

Elizabeth P. Lord is a celebrated leader in residential design whose influence reaches far beyond her award-winning projects. As principal designer at Elizabeth P Lord Residential Design LLC, she has earned nine local and one national design award for her innovative and thoughtful residential spaces. In 2023, she was appointed to the prestigious Thermador Design Council, joining 17 other top designers to advise on product design and functionality.
Elizabeth’s commitment to advancing her industry led her to launch Built4Design Residential Academy LLC, an education company that fills critical gaps in residential construction knowledge for interior designers and real estate professionals. Her academy hosts workshops and provides practical training that empowers professionals to confidently navigate job sites and manage projects. She is also a sought-after speaker at regional and national conferences and a regular contributor to two national trade magazines.
In recognition of her dedication, Kitchen and Bath Business Magazine named Elizabeth a Praiseworthy Person of the Year. She stands out for her passion to change lives through design and education, helping others become the best versions of themselves.
Elizabeth’s impact on her community is equally impressive. She has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity in Seattle, Denver and New Zealand. As an ambassador for the She Built Foundation, she inspires young girls by reading The House That She Built to local students. She mentors future designers as an adjunct instructor and Diversity in Design Mentor and serves as Vice President of the Interior Design Society Denver Chapter, which has grown to more than 200 members under her leadership.
