Erin Karney Spaur serves as Executive Vice President of the Colorado Cattlemen’s Association, where she oversees staff, guides policy strategy and maintains financial accountability for the organization. A seventh-generation Coloradan, she grew up working on her family’s cattle ranch near Las Animas and brings that firsthand agricultural experience to her advocacy work. She earned a bachelor’s degree in livestock business management and a master’s degree in meat science from Colorado State University. After working at a meat processing plant in Washington, she joined the Colorado Cattlemen’s Association in 2015 as director of industry programs before rising to her current role.
