Jack’s Modern Steakhouse reopens in Lone Tree after electrical fire

Jack’s Modern Steakhouse in Lone Tree reopened April 28 after closing for more than three months following an electrical fire.
The Jan. 22 fire started inside a second-floor wall and caused smoke damage throughout the 13,600-square-foot restaurant. South Metro Fire Rescue contained the fire and no injuries were reported.
“This community showed up for us in a way we’ll never forget,” said Darryl Shoemake, president of Jack’s Modern Steakhouse.
The restaurant said it retained 80% of its staff during the closure, with employees remaining on payroll through insurance coverage.
When it reopens, the restaurant will offer its existing menu along with new items, including a Wagyu pork entree made with Iberico Secreto. Additional menu items include steaks, seafood and other dishes.
A speakeasy-style bar is expected to open on the lower level in early May.
“We’ve put our hearts into this reopening, and we can’t wait to share what’s next with the community,” said Chef Oscar Diaz Lechuga.
The restaurant will serve lunch and brunch daily from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., followed by happy hour until 5 p.m. Dinner service will begin at 5 p.m. each day.
