Kristin Moritz is chief operating officer of Western Veterinary Partners, one of the nation’s fastest-growing networks of veterinary hospitals. Since joining the Denver-based company in 2021, she has led its operational transformation, expanding from fewer than 40 locations to more than 315 veterinary practices across the United States.

A graduate of Stanford University with a bachelor’s degree in management science and engineering and an MBA, Moritz began her career as an associate at Summit Partners before moving into higher education operations leadership roles at Heald College and Trident University. She later served as director of operations and strategy at DaVita Medical Group, then joined National Veterinary Associates in 2018, where she progressed from director to senior director of operations.

At Western Veterinary Partners, Moritz oversees a team of 75 supporting 6,500 employees nationwide. She has built a best-in-class operations infrastructure, integrating marketing, pricing, procurement and recruiting systems that enable local hospital teams to focus on care delivery. Using data and analytics, she identifies opportunities to improve performance, enhance compliance and drive incremental revenue through targeted campaigns and partnerships.

Moritz is known for her collaborative, results-driven leadership style that empowers hospital leaders through transparency and measurable goals. Outside of work, she volunteers with Girls on the Run and the Street Dog Coalition, mentors through Women in Leadership and Management in Animal Health (WILMAH) and supports PrideVMC and Not One More Vet. Her leadership has helped position Western Veterinary Partners as a nationally recognized and mission-driven organization.
