Lance Cayko

Lance Cayko is a serial entrepreneur and co-founder of F9 Productions Inc. and F14 Productions Inc., a pair of Longmont-based companies that integrate architecture, construction and real estate development. As president and CEO, he has built F9 Productions into one of Colorado’s premier design-build firms, recognized for its cost-effective, sustainable and community-driven projects.
Since founding F9 Productions in 2009, Cayko has expanded its reach from residential design to commercial and municipal projects, establishing a reputation for delivering creative, buildable and environmentally conscious work. In 2018, he co-founded F14 Productions, a licensed general contracting company that streamlines the construction process through in-house execution. Together, the firms have achieved more than 5,800% revenue growth and multiple industry awards, including Best Architecture Firm in the Best of Mile High Awards in 2023 and 2024.
Cayko’s leadership is defined by innovation and a commitment to continuous improvement. He has implemented lean methodologies to improve operations and design quality and leverages media as a teaching platform. As co-host of the Inside the Firm podcast, ranked in the top 1.5% globally, he shares insights on business, construction and architecture with audiences worldwide.
Beyond his companies, Cayko teaches as an adjunct professor at the University of Colorado Boulder and North Dakota State University and serves as founder and president of Longmont Community Gardens, a nonprofit that promotes sustainable food production.
