Miles Kailburn

Miles Kailburn is chief executive officer of OTM, a Fort Collins-based marketing and sales consulting firm helping founder-led B2B service businesses grow with clarity and confidence. Since co-founding the company in 2007, Kailburn has guided OTM through nearly two decades of evolution, transforming it from a web development agency into a strategic growth consultancy built around its proprietary Path to Growth® framework.
Kailburn began his career as a network engineer for East Rochester Schools and later served as a consultant for Poudre Computer Services before launching OTM. From 2004 to 2017, he served as director of development, then became CEO in 2017. His leadership has fueled the company’s 266% revenue growth and a more than 500% increase in net income during his tenure, a result of his focus on strategy, innovation and people-first culture.
Known for his “get 1% better every day” philosophy, Kailburn encourages curiosity, accountability and continuous improvement across his organization. He has guided OTM through economic shifts and industry disruptions by prioritizing adaptability and alignment between marketing, sales and business strategy.
Kailburn is a member of the Forbes Business Council, the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council and the boards of the Fort Collins Area Chamber of Commerce and Fort Collins Country Club. He also serves on the advisory committee for Front Range Community College.
