DENVER — PNC Bank has appointed two executives to lead private banking services in Colorado as the company expands its presence in the state.
Kim Eilber has been named senior vice president and market leader for PNC Private Bank, and Andreas Welo has been named senior vice president and investment regional manager for the western region. Both will be based in Denver.
Eilber will oversee client engagement and growth, managing services that include investment management, trust and financial planning. Welo will lead investment strategy and portfolio management across the western United States.
“PNC is in a period of significant expansion in Colorado,” said Kevin Classen, regional president for Colorado and Mountain territory executive.
Eilber has more than 20 years of experience in financial services and has worked with PNC Private Bank since 2020. Her previous roles include positions at Bank of America, Northern Trust and Citigroup. She holds a law degree from the University of Denver.
Welo has more than 25 years of experience in financial services and most recently served as a senior investment adviser with PNC in Houston. He previously held roles with BNY Mellon and other investment firms.
The appointments come as Colorado remains a growth market for private banking services, driven by higher median income and net worth than the national average.
