Kaiser Permanente has appointed Cortney Eisses regional president of its Colorado operations.
Eisses had served as interim regional president since February. She will oversee the health care organization‘s expansion in Colorado, including new medical offices, a larger hospital network and additional care options.
Eisses joined Kaiser Permanente in 2003 as a bedside nurse and has held several clinical, nursing leadership and executive operations positions in Colorado. She became vice president of hospital and post-acute care in 2022, overseeing efforts related to cost, quality, access and patient experience.
“Cortney’s extensive experience across care delivery and operations, combined with her commitment to our members, patients and communities, makes her well-positioned to lead Kaiser Permanente in Colorado,” said Craig Albanese, president of integrated care and coverage for Kaiser Permanente.
Eisses also oversaw Kaiser Permanente’s community health work when the organization received Mile High United Way’s 2026 Community Champion Award for Social Impact.
She holds a master’s degree in strategic leadership in health care organizations from the University of Denver and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Seattle Pacific University.
