ElektraFi has expanded its broadband service in Grand County, offering fixed wireless and fiber-to-the-home options for residents and businesses.
The rural broadband provider, which operates in Colorado and Texas, said its fixed wireless service offers speeds ranging from 50 megabits per second to 2 gigabits per second in certain coverage areas. The technology can be deployed without underground cable installation, allowing the company to serve areas where terrain or low population density can delay fiber construction.
“Fixed wireless technology deploys faster, reaches farther and offers the reliability rural communities deserve,” CEO Ryan Jenkins said. “For areas where fiber makes sense, we build it. For areas where speed to market matters, fixed wireless delivers.”
ElektraFi installations include business-grade equipment and 24-hour customer support. The company also offers internet and voice-over-internet protocol phone service packages.
Grand County residents and businesses can check service availability or schedule an installation at elektrafi.com.
