Dr. Seth Harvey

Dr. Seth Harvey is chief executive officer and co-founder of Bluestaq, a Colorado Springs-based software company pioneering secure data management solutions for the U.S. Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. Under his leadership, Bluestaq has grown from a startup in 2018 to a global enterprise with more than 200 employees and contracts exceeding $700 million.
Harvey began his career as an aerospace engineer at the Air Force Research Laboratory’s Space Vehicles Directorate, where he led research and development programs for next-generation space technologies. He later served as vice president of space operations at Intelligent Software Solutions, managing a $100 million portfolio of space programs. In 2018, he co-founded Bluestaq to transform how defense organizations handle, integrate and share mission-critical data.
Harvey’s leadership emphasizes innovation, trust and empowerment. “If you invest in your people, they’ll build the impossible,” he said. His people-first approach has earned Bluestaq national recognition as one of the best workplaces in the technology sector. The company’s proprietary platforms have revolutionized space domain awareness and real-time intelligence sharing across allied partners.
In addition to his role at Bluestaq, Harvey serves as managing partner of ONE Funds and as a partner and advisor to OneBowRiver, investment groups supporting small businesses and critical defense technologies. He also serves as vice chairman of the Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC and sits on several regional economic and workforce development boards.
Harvey earned his doctorate in electrical engineering from the University of Wyoming and dual bachelor’s degrees in computer science and mechanical engineering from the Montana School of Mines.
