Solas Energy launches US strategy and expands services

FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Solas Energy, a US-based energy consulting firm, has announced a new strategy to expand its services beyond renewable energy and storage in response to shifting market demands.

The company will now provide support for data centers, utilities, high-voltage transmission and substations, and conventional generation projects. Solas Energy has more than 100 gigawatts of experience in renewable energy and aims to build on that foundation to help clients adapt to a dynamic energy landscape.

Our new strategy will help them adapt to market shifts, deliver energy to the grid and seize new growth opportunities,” said Evelyn Carpenter, president and CEO of Solas Energy. “Solas Energy is positioned for success in today’s energy landscape that calls for diversified strategies and energy sources. As part of the US expansion, the company has introduced a refreshed brand and website at www.solasenergyus.com. Solas Energy will debut its new brand at the 2025 RE+ conference in Las Vegas, Sept. 8–11.
The firm has also separated its brand from its former Canadian collaborator, Solas Energy Consulting Inc., which will continue to pursue opportunities in Canada and abroad.
Solas Energy will continue to offer services including owner’s engineering, project and construction management, development support, operations and repowering strategy. The company said its client-centered approach, established in 2009, will remain the foundation of its work.
