FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Energy industry veteran Evelyn Carpenter has launched Invera Energy, a consulting and project management firm designed to serve a wider range of energy markets, including storage, conventional generation and large-scale infrastructure.
The new company builds on the 16-year track record of Carpenter’s first U.S. venture, Solas Energy. Solas Energy has supported more than 100 gigawatts of wind and solar projects since 2009 and will continue operating as a partner focused on renewable energy consulting.
Invera Energy will expand that foundation into sectors that require a more diversified energy mix. The firm plans to support projects involving battery energy storage systems, data centers, high-voltage transmission and utility infrastructure.
“Through Invera Energy, our team of trusted advisors can better service clients who are working to solve complex problems related to the growing and changing energy landscape,” Carpenter said. “America’s energy challenges have changed in scale and complexity. Invera Energy encompasses a broader set of services needed to meet the demands of the growing U.S. electricity industry.”
The company positions itself as a resource for utilities, data center operators and energy developers navigating rapid shifts in the national energy market. Leaders said the firm will draw on Solas Energy’s long-standing industry experience as it works across a more diversified set of technologies.
Invera Energy, based in Fort Collins, will provide consulting, due diligence, project management and construction advisory services. The company says its work is guided by principles of technical excellence, integrity, adaptability and leadership in the energy transition.
