The firm said Keith Trammell, Chalyse Robinson and David Strong will be based in Denver and also work out of its New York office, while Alex Bahn will be based in Washington, D.C. The group joins from WilmerHale and focuses on mergers and acquisitions, finance, tax and corporate governance.
“We are excited to add a team of four transactional partners to our corporate practice,” said Keith Fullenweider, chair of Vinson & Elkins.
Trammell advises public and private companies and private equity clients on mergers and acquisitions and capital markets. Robinson focuses on debt financing and capital markets transactions. Strong advises on tax aspects of corporate transactions, including mergers and joint ventures. Bahn works on corporate governance, securities compliance and capital markets matters.
The firm said the additions will support work across industries including energy, technology, retail and aerospace.
Vinson & Elkins also plans to relocate its Denver office on May 21 to a new space at 200 Columbine in Cherry Creek.
