In his 35-year career, Brett Godfrey has served as lead counsel for nearly 100 jury trials in more than 20 states. A former officer in the U.S. Air Force, experienced pilot, and prolific skydiver, Godfrey’s expertise with the aerospace industries has made him in high demand for cases involving airplane crashes.

“What manifests power for a litigator or a group of litigators is a combination of skills, reputation, and technologies,” said Godfrey. “They all have to be fused together, so power in the practice of law comes from a reputation built over years of demonstrated accomplishment in tough, tough cases.”

With a practice encompassing a wide range of complex scientific issues, Godfrey’s passion for all things high-tech extends to his second career as a novelist. His first techno-thriller, Black Sunrise, was published in 2019, and he’s currently writing the second installment in the series, due out in late 2025.
