Vice president and general manager of Mortenson’s Denver office, Brian Fitzpatrick leads the Minneapolis-based construction firm’s team in Colorado. Fitzpatrick, who has managed more than $1 billion in projects over the course of his career, joined Mortenson as a project engineer in 2007 and has served the company in his current role since 2021.

A former Colorado School of Mines football player, Fitzpatrick has made a mark on the sports world through his construction career by overseeing such high-profile projects as the Las Vegas Raiders’ Allegiant Stadium and the Camelback Ranch-Glendale spring training facility for Major League Baseball.

In Colorado, Fitzpatrick has helped execute Mortenson’s work on the HighPoint Elevated, which will encompass 4.75 million square feet of industrial space when complete, and the Cleo Parker Robinson Center for the Healing Arts in central Denver.
