DENVER — The Colorado Women’s Hall of Fame will host a Colorado Gives Day celebration on Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2025, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Denver Police Protective Association and PPA Event Center, 2105 Decatur St.
The event, titled “Legacy of Leadership: Honoring Colorado Women, Building Community and Celebrating America’s 250th,” will recognize women leaders, support a community food drive and highlight the upcoming 150th anniversary of Colorado statehood.
Special guests include Hall of Fame inductee Christine Benero (Class of 2024) and Yolanda Meade, vice chair of the organization.
Organizers said the Hall of Fame has received a $40,000 matching gift that will double contributions on Colorado Gives Day. The funding will support educational and community programs that honor women whose achievements have influenced Colorado’s history and civic life.
The event will bring together Hall of Fame honorees, supporters and community members to celebrate leadership legacies and encourage future changemakers. Organizers said the gathering also aims to strengthen community connections.
Complimentary appetizers and nonalcoholic beverages will be available.
The celebration will feature a canned food drive in partnership with Mile High United Way. Attendees are encouraged to donate canned goods to assist local families during the holiday season.
Tickets are available at Eventbrite.
