Progressive Urban Management Associates will preview its 2026 Global Trends Report from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Aug. 26 at the Source Hotel in Denver.
The Denver-based consulting firm’s seventh report examines demographic, lifestyle and economic trends affecting downtowns, commercial districts and public spaces. The report draws from more than 150 sources and covers slower population growth, changes in the office market, housing affordability, climate costs, artificial intelligence and shifting consumer and workforce behavior.
Representatives from Denver, Boulder and Colorado Springs will discuss projects in their communities.
The presentation will precede the Denver Business Improvement District Council’s second annual Revive + Thrive workshop Aug. 27 at the Source Hotel. The workshop will bring together local officials, state representatives and commercial district organizations to discuss business assistance, infrastructure, public spaces, safety and coordination between districts and government agencies.
The inaugural workshop drew about 100 attendees and included case studies involving the Colfax Avenue Business Improvement District, Cherry Creek North Business Improvement District, Downtown Denver Partnership and a partnership between Boulder and its downtown district.
Registration is available through the Denver BID Council.
