DENVER — Elitch Gardens Theme & Water Park opened for its 2026 season on April 18, marking 136 years of operation in Denver.
The amusement park’s season coincides with national and state milestones, including the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence and Colorado’s 150th year of statehood.
Park officials said the 2026 season will include additional operating days and an expanded lineup of events. Attractions include roller coasters, KiddieLand rides and the water park, along with new festival weekends, drone shows, dive-in movies and adults-only events.
“As we celebrate 136 years of Elitch Gardens alongside these national and state milestones, we’re reminded of how deeply rooted this park is in our community,” said general manager Rick Howarth.
Seasonal programming will continue in the fall with Fright Fest, which runs for six weekends, followed by Elitch Holidays, a six-week winter event featuring lights, entertainment and select rides.
Season passes are priced at $84.99 and include unlimited visits through the winter season, parking and access to select events.
