DENVER — Kaiser Permanente is expanding its footprint in Colorado with its largest investment in new medical offices in 15 years.
At a ribbon-cutting Tuesday for its new Parker Medical Offices, the health care provider announced plans for additional projects, including a rebuild and expansion of its Westminster Medical Offices and a new urgent care center at its Rock Creek Medical Offices in Lafayette. These projects come on top of new offices set to open soon in Pueblo North and Lakewood.
The planned Westminster facility would replace the original offices built in 1976. While details are still being finalized, the new building may include an outpatient surgery center and expanded urgent care services. Kaiser Permanente leaders said they will work closely with the City of Westminster and local residents during planning and construction.
The Parker Medical Offices at 12249 Pine Bluffs Way will open to patients on July 14. The new stand-alone facility is about 30 percent larger than the previous leased space to accommodate the area’s growing membership. Since 2020, more than 3,000 new members have selected Parker as their home base for care.
“To serve the needs of the rapidly growing Parker community, Kaiser Permanente must grow along with it,” said Dr. Jeff Krawcek, president and executive medical director for Kaiser Permanente in Colorado. “This modern facility helps us focus our care on our patients even better and ensures we can continue delivering our high-quality, integrated care and coverage now and in the future.”
Services at the Parker location include primary care, pharmacy, laboratory, imaging and nurse visits. The new building features 20 exam rooms, up from 12 in the previous facility, improved technology for in-person and virtual visits, and an updated layout to support care teams.
“This is an exciting new season for our members, our physicians and staff, and the communities we serve,” said Mike Ramseier, president of Kaiser Permanente in Colorado. “These new and expanded facilities will give our members more choice, access and convenience to high-quality care across the Front Range.”
The organization’s expansion plan also includes partnerships with hospitals in Metro Denver. Since 2024, Kaiser Permanente has added seven hospitals to its network, including St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood, St. Anthony North Hospital in Westminster, Presbyterian St. Luke’s and Rose Medical Center in Denver. Last week, Kaiser Permanente and HCA HealthONE delivered their first Kaiser Permanente babies at Rose.
Kaiser Permanente will open its Pueblo North offices next month and its new Lakewood location in early 2026.
The public is invited to tour the new Parker Medical Offices during a grand opening celebration from noon to 4 p.m. on July 19. The free event will feature a farmers market, family activities and a teddy bear clinic for kids.
Construction timelines for the Westminster and Rock Creek expansions will be announced later.
