Max Bull, 43, won a national championship with University of Denver’s 2003-04 hockey team before interning at Morgan Stanley and connecting with Shawn Fowler in 2005. As co-managing director of The Fowler Bull Group, Bull has won plenty of awards as an advisor to complement his hockey honors
In wealth management, power “is the ability to help clients define goals and achieve goals,” said Bull, noting that patience and consistency are prerequisites. “It’s not looking for the home runs, it’s coming in every day and putting in the work day after day.”
Like hockey, wealth management requires a team effort, he added. “Shawn and I are both passionate about everybody winning—just being able to build our team, add people, promote them, reward them, and have a group of people that have a shared vision and shared goals along the way.”
