In Brief:

French-inspired Paris Baguette is expanding its Colorado footprint, with an eye toward opening new restaurants in Centennial, Highlands Ranch and Northfield.

Under the guidance of Annie Song, the brand is prioritizing high-growth neighborhoods with a specific “neighborhood heartbeat” that balances geographic diversity with strong trade channel traffic.

The franchise, which focuses on building strong relationships with owners like Song, is more than just selling bread. It shows up for the community through its program, which supports various charitable initiatives that make an impact.

With more than 4,000 cafes worldwide, Paris Baguette carries the weight of a global powerhouse; its Denver strategy is rooted in local intimacy. The company isn’t looking to overshadow Denver’s homegrown bakeries.

“In Denver, Paris Baguette isn’t trying to replace local favorites,” said , director of for the company. “It’s positioning itself as the premium, local owner neighborhood bakery café that complements them.”

The brand is looking for 3,000-square-foot to 4,000-square-foot locations with high visibility and strong co-tenancy.

The is a goldmine for multiunit operators, Keith said. After the successful performance of the first three cafes in the region, market analysis determined it can support at least 20 units by 2030.

It’s an opportunity for operators like Song to build density and operational efficiencies in a market demonstrating high brand acceptance and strong unit-level performance.

As the brand scales, the goal is to transition from a newcomer to the “heart of the community” in every neighborhood it enters, Keith said.

Paris Baguette aims to open 1,000 cafes across North America by 2030.
