Founder, president, and CEO of Lone Tree-based Griffiths Law, Suzanne Griffiths, 69, has more than 40 years of experience in family law. Her many accolades include the Denver Business Journal’s “Most Admired CEO” award as well as a litany of honors from legal publications and organizations.
Griffiths, who practiced in her native South Africa for 15 years before immigrating to the U.S. and co-founding the firm in 2002, said she sees power in mentorship, a mindset inspired by her own mother’s sacrifices and words of encouragement.
“My impact as a role model is deeply rooted in my personal history of advocating for the rights of women in South Africa, where I courageously defended those persecuted under apartheid laws,” Griffiths said. “I practiced in an environment where women were unable to sign contracts without the assistance of their husbands and where discrimination in all legal spheres as well as the workplace was rampant.”
