Swig has signed a franchise agreement to open 10 locations in Colorado Springs, marking the company’s entry into Colorado.
The first location is expected to open by the end of 2026, according to the company.
The franchise agreement was signed with Alex and Alan Knox, a father-son team with experience in restaurant operations and franchising. The pair will oversee the expansion in El Paso County.
“We’ve followed Swig’s growth closely and have been impressed by the strength of the brand and the experience it delivers,” Alan Knox said in a statement. “We’re excited to introduce Swig to Colorado Springs.”
Founded in 2010 in St. George, Swig specializes in customizable soft drinks, known as “dirty sodas.” The company said it now operates more than 150 locations across 16 states.
Alex Dunn, CEO of Swig, said the Colorado Springs expansion is part of the company’s broader national growth strategy.
Swig’s locations primarily operate with drive-thru service and smaller store footprints designed for multi-unit expansion.
