COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — USA Cycling has entered a three-year partnership with Shokz, naming the company the organization’s official headphones provider through 2028.
The agreement brings together the national governing body for cycling in the United States and a manufacturer of open-ear audio devices designed to allow users to hear surrounding sounds while listening to audio.
Under the partnership, Shokz will support athletes across multiple cycling disciplines and participate in events including USA Cycling National Championships. The company will also host on-site demonstrations and fan engagement activities.
“Shokz provides the perfect solution for riders who want to enjoy audio while staying aware of what’s going on around them,” said Eric Bennett, USA Cycling’s director of membership.
USA Cycling and Shokz plan to work with clubs and teams across the country to offer product demonstrations and promote group rides. The organizations said the effort is intended to increase participation and support local cycling communities.
“Partnering with USA Cycling is an important milestone for Shokz,” said Vincent Xiong, head of North America for the company.
The partnership was arranged with the assistance of Aggregate Sports, USA Cycling’s agency of record.
