Tom Werge, 46, is an attorney and a musician, and his twin careers are increasingly intertwined. A founding partner of Werge & Corbin of Denver, he remains active as a musician as the longtime frontman for Colorado ska band 12 Cents for Marvin as his practice encompasses litigation for a wide range of businesses.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, music law is booming for Werge on a national scale. In 2024, he passed the California bar exam due to high demand in Los Angeles. “I took the exam because our music law practice has expanded so much over the last few years, and I currently have multiple active music litigation matters in California,” said Werge, highlighting a high-profile case against pop star Jason Derulo.

Regardless of the industry, he added, “There is nothing more satisfying than helping a client in need to resolve a difficult situation.”
