Andrew Folkerth, 63, has crafted real estate deals of all kinds in his more than 30 years in the field. A partner at Holland & Hart, Folkerth now represents lenders in complex financing packages for large construction projects of all kinds as well as affordable housing on the Front Range and in the mountains.

In real estate law, power is providing a service to clients, said Folkerth. “It’s not about me, it’s about providing that excellence for your client,” he noted. “Hopefully, we don’t get the attention, the client gets the attention.”

Noting that he likes to partner with clients for the long haul, Folkerth said his ethos is creation over conflict. “I’m sort of an oxymoron, because I’m a lawyer that doesn’t really like conflict,” he explained. “I like to do transactions: getting deals done, seeing projects being built, and having just whatever part I can have in that.”
