The managing director of Fairfield & Woods, Jack Reutzel, 67, has more than 30 years experience in real estate law. Before becoming an attorney, he worked in city planning for several cities and counties in Colorado, giving him a unique perspective on many projects.

“I have a master’s degree in city planning, so I’ve always been fascinated by the physical development of cities and places,” said Reutzel. “I think that there is a real art to having a successful environment, and the forces at play that help shape that have always been really interesting to me.”

Reutzel said power is “multifaceted” when it comes to real estate law. “There’s power in having the ability to find solutions for your client. There’s power in having the law on your side. There’s power in understanding people’s wants and needs and being able to deliver them.”
