LAKEWOOD — Cator Ruma & Associates has expanded into Utah, adding a fourth regional location, the company said.
The firm provides mechanical, electrical, plumbing, technology and commissioning engineering services. Its existing offices are in Lakewood, Cheyenne and Boise.
The Utah expansion is aimed at serving sectors including health care, higher education, K-12 schools and government facilities. The firm has more than 110 employees.
“Utah’s growth is real, and so is the demand for high-quality engineering,” said Blake Winter.
The company said it plans to hire engineers and other staff in Utah as part of the expansion.
“We are bringing a team and a track record,” said Michael Meints.
The move marks the firm’s fourth regional location, joining its existing offices in Lakewood, Colorado; Cheyenne, Wyoming; and Boise, Idaho. The Utah expansion positions Cator Ruma to serve the state’s rapidly growing healthcare, higher education, K-12, civic, laboratory, and mission-critical sectors, bringing its 110+ person team and full suite of engineering services to one of the most dynamic institutional markets in the country.
Established in 1959, Cator Ruma undertakes projects throughout the western United States.
