Founding principal of Tryba Architects in Denver, David Tryba, 69, has designed a wide range of projects across North America since launching the firm in 1988. Tryba Architects has opened a pair of new offices in Dallas-Fort Worth in the last three years, but his impact on Denver remains unmistakable.
Tryba has always emphasized the “urban fabric” of cities in his designs. “Each and every day, I’m motivated by the opportunity to help build a better city and cultivate a generation of designers dedicated to architecture that serves society,” he noted. “We aim to create healthy living spaces characterized by beauty and timeless quality, enhancing the lives of those who inhabit them, and reconnecting people with nature and the urban environment.”
He also highlighted teamwork as a crucial catalyst of his success and “the magic that arises from the collaboration of well-coordinated minds and spirits” working together on a project.”
Tryba is not resting on his laurels. His firm is currently involved in the Legacy Building on the campus of the National Western Complex; several mixed-use, multifamily, and office projects in Cherry Creek; and a master plan for the Fitzsimons Innovation Community in Aurora
