Denver NWSL shatters league record with 10,000+ season tickets

The Denver National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) franchise has sold more than 10,000 season ticket deposits, breaking a league record for deposits. The team reached this milestone in less than two months since the Mile High City was awarded the NWSL’s 16th expansion team on Thursday, January 30.
“This milestone showcases that our community is passionate about women’s professional soccer and what we are building in Denver and across the front range,” said Rob Cohen, controlling owner. “There is still a great deal of work to be done. We are excited to continue collaborating with our community to create a club that is representative and inclusive of all of Colorado.”
Since the club’s launch in January, Denver NWSL has announced major facility and infrastructure plans. The club plans to build a purpose-built stadium and recreational district for professional women’s soccer in Denver’s urban core. The 14,500 seat stadium will be built at Sante Fe Yards (Broadway and I-25) in the heart of Denver. Santa Fe Yards will be the first purpose-built sports and entertainment district built for professional women’s sports in Colorado.
Denver NWSL will also build a world-class performance center and purpose-built temporary stadium for women’s professional athletes in Centennial, Colo. The performance center will serve as Denver NWSL’s permanent training facility. Denver NWSL, in partnership with the City of Centennial and the Cherry Creek School District (CCSD), will build a 12,000-seat temporary stadium for Denver NWSL to play in for the 2026 and 2027 NWSL seasons.
