Kentwood Real Estate announces leadership changes

Colorado brokerage Kentwood Real Estate has promoted Dierk Herbermann to president and Amy Herrington to director of operations as part of a taking place throughout August.

Herbermann, who has served as chief operating officer for seven years, will oversee the company’s daily operations with Herrington. His experience includes brokerage management, sales and legal leadership in Colorado.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to build on the foundation Gretchen and the Kentwood leaders before her created,” Herbermann said.

Herrington has worked at Kentwood for nearly 30 years and previously served as director of agent services. The Denver Metro Association of Realtors named her its 2025 Support Person of the Year.

Longtime President and CEO Gretchen Rosenberg will become Kentwood’s executive chairman after 28 years with the company. She has also been appointed vice president of industry affairs and engagement for , the parent company of Kentwood.

In her national role, Rosenberg will work on industry relationships, market trends and collaboration among HomeServices operating companies. She will continue advising Kentwood’s leadership team as executive chairman.

Denver-based Kentwood was founded in 1981.
