Global architecture and design firm HKS has hired April Herrmann as principal and business development director for its sports practice.
Based in Denver with a national focus, Herrmann brings more than 20 years of architecture, engineering and construction industry experience. She will lead business development efforts, strengthen client relationships and support strategic growth across the sports, entertainment and public assembly sectors.
Before joining HKS, Herrmann held leadership positions at several multidisciplinary design firms, including DLR Group, where she worked on business development, strategic partnerships and market expansion.
“April’s experience building client relationships and advancing business development across the sports market will strengthen our national practice,” HKS said in announcing the appointment.
HKS’ Denver office works on projects across Colorado and the Mountain West, including mixed-use, sports, health care, hospitality and community developments. The firm operates globally with offices throughout the United States and internationally.
