Judy Mackey is a visionary leader whose life’s work has uplifted the health and well-being of countless people. As co-owner of the Garden of the Gods Resort and Club since 2013, Judy has transformed the iconic property with a $60 million renovation and the development of new luxury cottages and casitas that expanded the resort’s capacity and elevated its status as a premier destination.
Driven by her lifelong dedication to proactive wellness, Judy brought her dream of a fully integrative health center to life when she opened Strata Med in 2016. This state-of-the-art facility blends evidence-based medical care with complementary practices to deliver personalized health plans that empower clients to live their best lives. From cardiology to mindfulness, Strata Med has been credited with saving lives by helping patients detect and prevent serious conditions before they become critical.
Before acquiring the resort, Judy founded and led Healthy You and Benefit Services Group, pioneering cost-effective benefit plans that prioritized client health. She has extended this vision to her own staff, offering affordable insurance and incentives for preventative care and screenings.
Judy’s impact reaches far beyond her businesses. She co-founded an Enchanted Weekend fundraiser that has raised $1.4 million annually for Goodwill of Colorado. This past year, she hosted a benefit dinner that raised more than $200,000 to equip local first responders with life-saving whole blood supplies, directly saving dozens of lives across Colorado.
Judy’s commitment to community runs deep through her service on boards and committees for the Girl Scouts, Goodwill, the Red Cross and more. Her legacy is defined by a simple mission: leave everything she touches better than she found it.
