Mytikas Manufacturing brings 170 jobs to Fremont County

FREMONT, Colo. — will bring 170 new jobs to Fremont County after becoming the first business in the area to join Colorado’s Rural Jump-Start program, state officials announced Monday.

Governor Jared Polis and the Business Funding & Incentives division of the Colorado Office of and International Trade () said the company, which produces sustainable galvanized steel components and , plans to begin hiring and launch production in the third quarter of 2025.

“Colorado is proud to announce the addition of 170 good new jobs by Mytikas Manufacturing in Fremont County,” Polis said. “Mytikas delivers cost-efficient, durable and eco-friendly building solutions. Our Rural Jump-Start initiative helps stimulate local economies, generate jobs, enhance our quality of life and address housing needs across the state.”

Eric J. Bonick, chief financial officer of Mytikas Manufacturing, said the company is eager to establish operations in the region. “We are thrilled to become part of the Fremont County community. OEDIT’s help through the Rural Jump-Start and Innovative Housing Incentive programs was crucial to bringing our vision of sustainable, high-efficiency and affordable building solutions and tiny homes to life in Colorado,” he said.

The Rural Jump-Start program targets economically distressed counties, providing funding to expand local businesses, create good-paying jobs and strengthen regional economies. Local partners such as the Fremont County Economic Development Corporation (FEDC) help identify business candidates and support them through the program.

“We are pleased to welcome Mytikas Manufacturing to Fremont County,” said OEDIT Executive Director Eve Lieberman. “The Rural Jump-Start program is a valuable tool for supporting new jobs across Colorado, fostering economic growth and opportunity in our rural communities.”

Rob Brown, executive director of FEDC, said his organization was proud to sponsor the company’s entry into the program. “We welcome the new jobs and economic opportunities their investment will bring to Fremont County,” he said.
