ShipSkis expands Alterra, Ikon Pass partnership through 2028

DENVER — ShipSkis has expanded a multi-year partnership with Alterra Mountain Company, becoming the official shipping partner of the Ikon Pass and participating Alterra destinations through 2028.
The agreement extends an existing program that allows guests to ship skis, snowboards, luggage and gear directly to their accommodations. The service is designed to reduce baggage handling and fees at airports and streamline travel between resorts.
Alterra said the partnership is intended to simplify travel for Ikon Pass holders and resort guests as visitation grows across its portfolio.
ShipSkis offers door-to-door pickup from a home or office with delivery to lodging at participating resorts. The service includes tracking, customer support and an on-time delivery guarantee, according to the company.
Under the expanded agreement, Ikon Pass holders will receive a shipping offer through Ikon Pass Peak Perks, including a 25% introductory benefit and ongoing 10% savings. Guests at Deer Valley Resort will also receive a $100 booking credit.
ShipSkis will receive increased visibility across select resort websites, guest communications and on-site channels during the partnership term.
