Apogee Engineering has opened a new headquarters at 9910 Federal Drive in Colorado Springs, consolidating its local operations into a single facility with more than 34,000 square feet of office and training space.
The new headquarters includes 20,000 square feet of office space and 14,000 square feet dedicated to training operations, including cybersecurity and technical instruction.
Apogee first entered the Colorado Springs market in 2012 with a 7,500-square-foot office on Explorer Drive. The company later expanded that location to about 12,000 square feet and added a 6,700-square-foot training center.
Company officials said the new facility will allow Apogee to host more training courses simultaneously and expand classroom and laboratory capacity for federal and allied agency programs.
“What started as 7,500 square feet on Explorer Drive has grown into a campus purpose-built for the way Apogee delivers today,” said Josh Reid, the company’s director of infrastructure development.
According to the company, the expanded facility supports its work with federal agencies and provides additional room for hiring and workforce development in Colorado Springs.
