Bryce Hall, 50, joined KEPHART in 2008 and rose to president of the Denver-based, multifamily-focused firm in 2019. He has worked in residential architecture for more than 20 years, and recently helped oversee the firm’s design of The Dorsey, a new 230-unit building in Denver’s Five Points neighborhood.

Hall said that architects don’t wield power per se, but harness it in order to foster the best results possible. “We’re much more about being inquisitive, looking for the best way to do something, always willing to learn,” he explained. “When I walk into a room, I’m not the smartest guy in the room. I’m looking to learn from the smart guys in the room.”

Multifamily residential architecture “serves that mission of providing homes for folks,” added Hall, citing work on senior and affordable housing as especially rewarding. “What’s more fulfilling than knowing that you’ve contributed to providing someone with a safe, comfortable place to spend a lot of their time?”
