Founder and CEO of the Springs Law Group, Christopher Nicolaysen, 49, worked for a pair of law firms in Colorado Springs before striking out on his own nearly a decade ago to focus on automobile accidents and other personal injury cases.
Nicolaysen said a restrained, informed approach has fueled the firm’s dynamic growth. “Many people believe that power as a lawyer is ‘fighting,’ but I believe it is knowing when to fight the smart fight, not the emotional fight,” he said. “Power is relying on your team and trusting in others.”
A teacher before embarking on his law career, Nicolaysen said he is passionate about helping others. “Seeing a client get the compensation they deserve and knowing we made a real impact is incredibly fulfilling. On the entrepreneur side, it’s all about helping my team members find their vision and take action to create the lives they’ve dreamed of.”
He added, “I’m passionate about helping others find clarity, build strong foundations, and keep moving forward—because that’s where the real growth happens.”
