ASPEN, Colo. — Pittsburgh-based wealth management and institutional advisory firm DBR & Co. plans to open an office in Aspen, expanding its operations into Colorado.
Michael Aroesty, chief investment officer and shareholder, will lead the office. Aroesty has worked for the firm for more than 15 years and advises high-net-worth clients, institutions and retirement plan sponsors on investments, asset management and financial planning.
The company said it is opening the office to serve existing clients and business relationships in the area. An opening date was not disclosed.
“This office allows us to deliver even greater accessibility and support to our current clients, while also connecting with new families and professionals,” founder and CEO David B. Root Jr. said.
DBR & Co. said the Aspen location could also support future partnerships and employee growth. Financial details related to the expansion were not disclosed.
