DENVER — More than 1,000 leaders and 400 experts are expected to gather in Denver in June for GlobalMindED’s 12th annual conference focused on , and career opportunities.

The conference, “Dimensions of Our Democracy: Architecting the Next 250/150 Years,” will take place June 10-12 at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel. The event will bring together leaders from education, , government and to discuss how students can prepare for careers as changes the workforce.

“As AI and workforce disruption accelerate, the need to connect education to real-world opportunity has never been more urgent,” said Carol Carter, CEO of GlobalMindED. “We bring together leaders committed to ensuring every student has access to opportunity, networks and career pathways.”

The event coincides with preparations for the nation’s 250th anniversary and Colorado’s 150th anniversary. Programming includes pre-conferences, leadership development sessions and the Exceptional Leaders Awards Dinner on June 10, followed by two days of general sessions and more than 90 breakout discussions.

The conference also will include an Industry Marketplace connecting students with employers. The event, held in partnership with the Colorado Department of Labor, is free and open to the public from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. June 12 and will feature more than 100 hiring companies.

Attendees are expected to include representatives from businesses, nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, government agencies and high school and college students.

GlobalMindED works to connect students with mentors, internships and employment opportunities while helping organizations develop workforce pipelines.
