Golden State Dermatology has entered the Colorado market through its acquisition of Summit Dermatology in Colorado Springs. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Summit Dermatology is led by board-certified dermatologists Dr. Kevin Whaley and Dr. Jeanne Osborn. The practice provides medical and procedural dermatology for patients of all ages, including skin cancer screenings and Mohs micrographic surgery.
“Golden State Dermatology shares our values while providing the resources and support to help us continue serving our community,” Whaley said.
Summit Dermatology’s physicians and staff will remain at the practice’s Colorado Springs location. Its location and phone number will not change, according to the companies.
Golden State Dermatology is a physician-led and physician-owned network of dermatology practices operating in the central and western United States.
