Managing partner of Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner’s Boulder office and co-practice group leader of the St. Louis-based firm’s national commercial real estate practice, Heather Boelens,42, has worked on the acquisition, finance, and development of just about every asset class of commercial real estate, from multifamily to manufacturing to medical.
“I find great satisfaction in problem-solving for my clients and collaborating towards a common goal that yields visible, tangible results,” said Boelens. “I often tell people that I practice ‘happy law’ because, in the end, all parties are usually pleased with the outcome.”
Boelens said her upbringing gave her tenacity in a field where it is a prerequisite. “Growing up on a farm in a small town of just 800 people, I had to build my career from scratch without having any connections in the legal field,” she explained. “One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned is never shy away from speaking up or embracing challenges.”
