Developers East West Partners and Ascentris have opened leasing for One Cherry Creek, the first office building that will be built in the 13-acre Cherry Creek West redevelopment.
The project will transform the area between University Boulevard and Clayton Lane along 1st Avenue into a pedestrian-friendly district connecting the neighborhood to the creek.
The eight-story One Cherry Creek project will offer 200,000 square feet of Class A office space and 19,000-square feet of ground-floor retail.
“We’re introducing a new kind of workplace that brings together design, nature and community in a way that attracts forward-thinking companies and the talent that drives them,” Amy Cara, managing partner at East West Partners, said in a statement.
The leasing effort is being led by Nick Pavlakovich, Matthew Gautreau and Michael Pavlakovich of Cushman & Wakefield.
Key features of One Cherry Creek include:
The office tower is in a walkable environment that eventually will include over 50,000 square feet of new restaurants and retail in its first phase.
The broader Cherry Creek West project will span four city blocks along 1st Avenue. By completion, the mixed-use project will have 840 residences, 600,000 square feet of office space, 100,000 square feet of retail and 2,000 underground parking spaces.
One Cherry Creek is scheduled for completion by summer 2029.
“Cherry Creek continues to be one of the most competitive and supply-constrained submarkets in the country,” Nick Pavlakovich said. “With its beautiful architecture, prominent location along 1st Avenue and exceptional amenity base, it offers a workplace experience today’s employees are genuinely excited about.”
