CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Dog care franchise Skiptown has signed a five-unit franchise agreement to expand in Colorado, with the first location planned for the Denver metro area.
The new locations will be owned and operated by a Colorado entrepreneur who first became familiar with the company as a customer. The franchisee has a background in sales, business development and the pet industry.
The agreement expands Skiptown’s presence in Colorado as the company continues its franchise growth strategy.
“This new franchise agreement is especially meaningful because it comes from a loyal Skiptown member who understands the value we bring to both pups and their people,” CEO Mike Rotondo said.
Skiptown offers dog daycare, boarding, grooming, bathing and walking services through a technology-based platform that allows customers to book services, check in and communicate with staff.
The company cited Colorado’s pet-friendly culture and growing demand for dog care services as factors in its expansion plans.
